The Aaron Ginns Trio

Piano, bass and drums for the rooms where the music sets the tone: hotels, restaurants, galleries, galas and cocktail hours. The trio spent years as the house band at the Park Hyatt New York and plays across the city, from black tie events to relaxed bars in Brooklyn.

The repertoire is wide: standards, bossa, ballads and pop tunes rearranged for the group. Sets are built around the room and the hour, and requests are welcome with some notice. For black tie we arrive in tuxedos; for a cocktail bar, something easier.

Listen: three short samples from recent trio sets.
